T 'was the night before New Year's and she sat back and
sighed
All the blocks that she pieced and the new things she tried
Twenty-two full size quilts were completed, While others set
aside
She had such a journey from Rag Quilts to Patchwork all
thanks to the push of her little girl, Jessie's Blankie
Three sewing machines she now owned, lived in the bedroom
where her little girl had grown
To the photos she posted and those that she liked. She was grateful for all the new friendships
that had formed
For the laughter they shared and the tears, they had shed
out of sorrow and joy. Some even over seam ripper frustration
So many had bonded under one CraftyCop, to unite as an army
for the BlueRKBlock
Stitchesngiggles, Catching Thread, Olieandevie and so many
more enable our addiction to fabrics galore
To the pattern designers who designs we had to try and
download. But I put my own twist on each as that is my mode
For the swaps that she joined and a few that she lead. As we mailed off our blocks or our minis, we'd hope and we prayed that those who
received them would love the things we had made
In our jammies, we'd craft each Saturday night and we would
like and encourage to each other's delight
So now as we begin 2018, we post our intros and goals and
wonder where we will end up as begin 2019
